On Aug. 1, 1947, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Buckles were blessed with a daughter, Carolyn Lee. She has blue eyes and light brown hair and a happy smile which has helped give her a pleasing personality.

Carolyn has gone to Mound City School most of her life except for three years at Bellevue.  She has been an active student in high school participating on the annual staff for two years, and in Pep Club for four years. She has also made the high scholastic and regular honor rolls several times since she has been in high school.

At present her plans for the future are to continue working at the Golden Rule Store until she can get a secretarial or bookkeeping job.

We all wish her the best of luck in the future and hope that she will have a happy one. –BB.
