On Feb. 21, 1947, Elizabeth Ann Metzgar was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lee Metzgar.  She attended Bellevue High School eleven years and Mound City High School her senior year.

Commonly known as Ann among her schoolmates, she has taken an active part in school activities. She participated in basketball all four years and received honorable mention to the all-conference team as a sophomore at Bellevue. She was in the junior class play at Bellevue and went on a junior class trip to Chicago. She joined the Pep Club her senior year in Mound City.

Ann has received the Mathematics Award, the Underwood Typing Award, and has been on the honor roll four years. She went on the Sophomore Pilgrimage and as a junior attended Girls State.

Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite color is blue. Ann has plans to attend Tarkio College. We wish her the best of luck.—DD.
