Mr. and Mrs. Conley M. Bennington became the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy in Hamburg, IA, on Jan. 11. 1947. They named him Gary Lynn. He is now a senior at Mound City High School. He has blue eyes, dark brown hair, and stands 5’6” tall. Gary began the first grade at Tarkio and later moved to Rock Port where he attended the second, third, fourth and fifth grades. He then brightened Mound City School when he entered in 1959. Gary has been a member of FFA four years and held the office of parliamentarian his freshman year, and reporter his senior year. He also went to State FFA Contest and was a delegate from MC FFA Chapter his senior year. His hobbies vary from girls, water skiing, and hunting to working on automobiles. If he is ever hungry, you can always bet he will want strawberry shortcake. His favorite song is “Moon River” and he loves the color, light blue. His fondest high school memories are committee meetings of the junior year, the FFA contest at Columbia, and the senior trip to Omaha. –PC. |
