If you have attended any athletic event in the past four years in which Mound City participated, you have probably seen Hal Nauman.  Halbert Murray Nauman was born June 13, 1946, in St. Joseph to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nauman. He came to Mound City in the second grade after attending Everett School in St. Joseph.

Hal has been especially interested in sports and has played football two years, basketball four years, and participated in track for four years. Due to this, he regards his fondest high school memory as the winning of the 275 Conference Basketball Championships.

Hal was also active in FFA his freshman year and attended State contests that year.

His favorite food is steak, and his favorite color is red. His future plans are to attend Northwest Missouri State College.—LD.
