Hubert Ray Nauman was born on June 13, 1946, to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nauman. He attended Everett Grade School one year in St. Joseph, and then moved to Mound City.

Ever since the second grade, Hugh has been developing his skill as an athlete. He has participated in football two years, basketball four years, and track four years. He also belonged to the FFA one year.

Hugh has received the Commerce Award as a junior and has been on the honor roll three quarters. He has also received the American Legion Award and the Best Athlete Award. He lettered in football, basketball and track this year.

Hugh’s favorite songs are “Baby the Rain Must Fall” and “Goin to Hangover Tavern”. His hobbies include all sports and his fondest high school memories are his participation in sports and his friendship with classmates.

Hugh plans to attend Northwest Missouri State College at Maryville. We wish him the best of luck and are sure that he will go far.—DD.
