On July 16, 1947, in Mound City, a red-haired, green-eyed baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Perry G. Davis. Since then Jerelyn Davis has grown to 5 feet, 7 ½ inches. She has gone to MC all 12 years of school. While in high school she was very active as a member of FHA four years, annual staff three years, and Pep Club four years. In Jerelyn’s junior year she was vice president of Pep Club and her senior year she was president. She was flag attendant two years, office girl, two years, and librarian, three years. She also played “Mildred” in the senior play “Rest Assured.” Her honors include being on the honor roll 9 out of 16 quarters. She has received the school letter one year. Her favorites include: song “The Race is On”; food, pizza; color, lavender; and subjects geography and biology. Jerelyn’s favorite hobbies are sports and collecting stuffed animals. Her fondest memories are preparing for the prom and when her school won football and basketball conference championships. Jerelyn’s future plans are to attend NWMS College in Maryville where she will major in archeology and minor in psychology.—KK. |
