John Lowell Hood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hood, was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Mound City.  He has attended school here all 12 years.

John has lettered in football his freshman and senior year and has been a staunch supporter of all sports events. He reports that he has often helped the track boys by lending his bicycle for transportation back and forth to the track field so they wouldn’t be too tired to participate in the events when they arrived there.

His hobbies are model cars and hunting. He has a special fondness for baked ham and the song “Help Me Run.”

We extend best wishes to John in his future schooling. He plans to attend Northwest Missouri State College at Maryville.—PA.
