This 5 ft. 11-inch brown-haired blue-eyed senior is the newest addition to the class of 65. He was born in Holt County, one of three children of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Diggs. Before moving to Mound City, he attended school in Skidmore, Maitland, and Nodaway-Holt R-VII, where he went out for track two years.

John was a member of FFA for three years. FFA aroused an interest in farming and he now plans to make farming his occupation in the future.

His hobby is collecting model cars and he likes to swim and hunt in his spare time. Blue is Johnnie’s favorite color and he is most happy while eating apple pie or strawberry shortcake and listening to “Hill-Billy Heaven.”—LN.
