If you are looking for a capable leader with a ready smile and a winning personality, your pick would probably be Julie Wallace. Julie is the first born child of Dr. and Mrs. Hugh M. Wallace. She arrived May 16, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Attending Mound City School twelve years, she has been a member of student council two years, class officer two years, annual staff member two years, FHA member four years, Pep Club member four years and a cheerleader her senior year. Also she was excellent in playing her part of Mary Moorcock in the senior play “Rest Assured.” Julie has also received many honor awards and scholarships. She received the DAR Award, Betty Crocker Award, one of the “I Dare You” Awards, and a Curator’s Scholarship to M.U. In addition she has been on the honor roll for 8 semesters (all four years) and was Annual Queen for the year 1964-1965. For the future, Julie plans to be a lifeguard and work in the dining lodge at the lake. In the fall she plans to attend M.U. Julie’s hobbies include dating, swimming and sewing. Her fondest high school memories are working on the Junior-Senior Prom, senior play, and committee meetings of all kinds.—GY. |
