Robert Lynn Crouse

While walking down the halls of MCHS, you are likely to see one Robert Lynn Crouse.  He was born Sept. 7, 1947, in the Missouri Methodist Hospital in St. Joseph to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crouse.

Robert has attended MCHS all of his 12 years in school. He has been an outstanding student and is graduating with high honors.  In class activities, he was twice elected as class reporter and once elected as secretary.

We can’t leave sports out!  Robert participated in football three years, track, two years, and basketball, one year. He has served on the student council, two years and has been on the annual staff three years.  He gave a fine performance in the senior play in November.

Robert has very high scholastic abilities. He has been on the honor roll 8 quarters and in his junior year received the NCTE Achievement Award.

After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia and major in journalism or English.

Like any other teenager, Robert has favorites. His favorite food is steak and pizza; his favorite song is “Baby, the Rain Must Fall”; and his favorite color is “tweetybird” yellow.

He recalls his fondest high school memories as the junior-senior prom, the senior play, Sneak Day, and the senior trip.—MF.
