William Boyd Schmidt was born to Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Schmidt on Dec.11, 1947, at Hamburg, Iowa. He has attended our school two years; his other school days were spent at Skidmore. To most people he is better known as Happy.

His favorite song is “Let’s Have a Party”. Other favorites are shrimp and metallic blue, actor John Wayne and actress Mary Tyler Moore.  He plans to attend an auto mechanics school in Kansas City after graduation.—DP.
